I'm only giving a 4 because of the condition of the building. Honestly, its the best chicken and gravy in the area. I wish this location could get much needed repairs so the feel can match the taste. Food always hot and fresh. Order is never wrong and the ladies are always smiling and friendly. Biscuits have never been nothing but perfect! That's what earns your customer's loyalty. That building could be crumbling and I'd still get in the drive thru line

Excellent sweet wings. They are a mustard sauce and incredible. You get an entire wing. All three pieces. I heard the coleslaw and was disappointed. I figured it would be homemade but it's from GFS. Otherwise. Wings were mmmm mmmmm good

My goodness! The liver & gizzards were superb and something that I hadn't eaten in ages. The portion was generous and the gravy was perfect.. I was driving around looking for something good to eat for dinner. What I got was something delicious and spot on. The customer service was a bit lacking but the food made up for it.

A jewels within the city Memphis, Tennessee family owned business for over 60th years, this secret is keep within the local" It's a Memphis thing" and that right, try this chicken liver & combo or chicken southern style special recipe season favor only at Jack Pirtle's Chicken, very busy, great service a plus, clean with COV19 protocols in place, you should have visit on your next trip to Memphis TN, believe me I will be coming back thanks.

I love this place. I've been going to different locations around Memphis for years. They have a steak sandwich with slaw and gravy, fried chicken livers, and chicken that's all worth risking your life over. Grab your piece if you carry like me, and head to your nearest location that is still open and get you some good food!

No complaints over here, my wife and I have moved to NC and cane back in town on business(last week). Stop by the same restaurant and didn't disappoint. Got the same meal and same drink, mind you.....haven't been here in 4yrs and come back....and it's like I never left. When I'm back in Memphis, once again will stop by here again....
